Our registration guide will walk you through opening a Steam account and connect it to the SkillQuest platform.
Yes, the video games we analyze are commercial video games available on the Steam portal.
It does not make any difference to SkillQuest if your Steam account is new or not.
If you use an already existing account and you have already played one or more of the games we analyze, we can generate maps, charts and a report immediately using the gaming data already collected by Steam.
No, Steam registration is free. Some games on their platform are free-to-play, while others are pay-to-play.
Whether a game is free to play or not is decided by the publisher of the video game (not Steam, not Wisepath).
Not yet. At the moment, SkillQuest is able to retrieve gaming data only from the Steam portal.
Soon we will also be able to retrieve gaming data also from the Xbox Live, Playstation Network, and Nintendo switch portals.
We follow strict security protocol and International Privacy Law to ensure your data are safe.
The only data we retrieve from your Steam account are the achievements you earned with your playing activity and the total playing time at each game. All other information remains within your Steam account.
It takes 24 hours for the analysis of your gaming data to be available on the SkillQuest dashboard in your account.
No, you don’t need to play again. All the data generated by your gaming activity are safely stored in your Steam account. As soon as you set the Game Details flag in your Steam profile to public, SkillQuest will be able to access the stored data and analyze it. Keep in mind that it will take 24 hours to see the result in your SkillQuest Dashboard.
To gather enough data to generate the maps, charts and reports, you'll need to play for 2 - 3 hours. The more you play, though, the more insightful the analysis becomes because we have more data to work with.
The optimal playtime is around 10 hours per video game, but the more you play, the better the analysis.
Absolutely, yes. We can access the data and perform the analysis for any of the video games we have analyzed.
We give you the opportunity to generate a PDF report that you can share however you want. Soon you'll be able to share your charts to social media directly from Wisepath’s SkillQuest service.
The SkillQuest service generates a report that summarizes your soft skills configuration so that a manager, coach, or teacher can understand which soft skills you are strong in and which you would benefit from improving further.
We are working to add a brief analysis of the reports and we have partnerships with networks of coaches and mentors that can provide you a personalized in-depth analysis, if desired.

Yes, some of the video games we have analyzed are multi-player games. You can play them in single use mode or with your friends. We will analyze the gaming data of all the players that have registered to SkillQuest.
