Insights from the CEO

Building the Dream Job in the Age of AI.
At the beginning of my professional career the “dream job” was some sort of mythological entity that only an enormous amount of luck and coincidence would have manifested into reality. It required choosing the right career, finding the perfect employer, living in the right country, and being surrounded by the greatest colleagues. The feeling was that the probabilities of such event were extremely slim and therefore I had to prepare myself to lower my expectations.
Fast forward 30 years and the same idea has taken a completely different meaning. AI has created the conditions that require professionals to create their “dream job” and for companies to appreciate the strategic value of such “dream jobs” as a way to differentiate and innovate their products and services.
The core message is simple yet powerful: any job that relies purely on production will sooner or later be taken over by AI. Clients and employers who prioritize speed—how quickly a task gets done—will increasingly turn to AI, which will always be more efficient and competitive than any human.
But when trust is required (think: filing taxes), or when excellence is the goal (like creating a unique idea through collaboration with passionate, inspiring people), the human touch becomes essential. In these cases, there will always be a need for real professionals—people, not machines.
The key, then, is to offer excellence—in our work, in our craft, and in ourselves. And excellence is only possible when we do something we love. The challenge is twofold: we must develop top-level skills and professionalism, while also finding clients or employers who value us—not just our work.
That means expressing our ideas, being creative, collaborating effectively and enjoyably—and doing all of this in an environment that sees and appreciates our value. When this balance is achieved, we reach what we call the dream job: a role where we feel competent, engaged, and proud to grow, both personally and professionally, within a team or organization that shares our vision.
But the dream job isn’t something you find—it’s something you build. Whether you’re a freelancer or an employee, it’s a relationship between you and your client or employer. A relationship that values not only what is done, but who does it. This kind of connection builds trust and creates a resilient, irreplaceable bond. We become essential to the success of the organization, and the organization becomes essential to our professional growth and satisfaction.
Building one’s dream job begins with a journey shaped by two core elements: your professional personality and your emotional intelligence.
Imagine you're the captain of a solo boat crossing the ocean. Your professional personality is the boat itself—the rudder, keel, mast- while your emotional intelligence is the sails. And you're at the helm, steering based on what conditions arise. Sometimes the seas are calm and the wind carries you effortlessly. Other times, you face storms where sharp decisions and strong presence are critical to stay on course.
The challenges and experiences along the way are what shape your character, helping you build the skills and resilience needed to thrive in your dream job—the destination of your journey.
The courses designed by Wisepath together with its partners are designed to help you become aware of, and strengthen, your professional personality—to build a strong, reliable boat ready to handle anything. At the same time, our coaching partners support you in developing your emotional intelligence—teaching you how to master the wind, channeling emotional energy into your sails to power your journey with confidence and purpose.
We give you the tools not just to succeed, but to truly build a dream job that’s meaningful, motivating, and entirely your own.
